Counselling and Psychotherapy
Counselling addresses various issues such as bereavement, debt and relationship break down to name but a few. These issues can be overwhelming and challenging at times and could become problematic to deal with. Counselling gives you the opportunity to receive support to explore your problems in depth and work towards gaining insight. It also looks at understanding how we manage problems and distressing states of mind for example anger, fear or hopelessness and its impact on ourselves and relationships with others.
My main focus will be to help you gain knowledge to resolve the issues life is presenting you, in a safe non-judgemental and confidential space. The therapeutic work is to create an opportunity to challenge your thought processes, through talk and reflection. This will enable you to change patterns of behavior and attitudes; that will positively enrich your quality of life.
